ABOUT
Gia (b. 1992, Hamburg, Germany) is an abstract painter exploring emotion through texture, color, and raw expression. She first gained recognition for her plaster sculptures, which sold out entirely and are held in private collections worldwide. Seeking new creative challenges, she transitioned to painting, embracing a freer and more instinctive approach.
Working with acrylic, oil, and oil bar on raw canvas, she embraces spontaneity, allowing texture and movement to guide her compositions. Her paintings are bold yet vulnerable, with rich layers that create depth and emotion.
When standing in front of one of her works, order suddenly emerges from chaos. Restraint and devotion reveal themselves. Gia captures a place, a moment, a feeling.
Each day begins with a small oil pastel study, a ritual that sets the tone for her larger works. These studies explore color and creative freedom and are also available for purchase, offering collectors an accessible entry into her body of work.
For Gia, painting is a way to claim space, express what cannot be put into words. Her art is not here to be simply admired. It is here to make a statement.
